Bob Galen

Bob Galen is an Agile Methodologist, Practitioner & Coach based in Cary, NC. In this role, he helps guide companies and teams in their pragmatic adoption and organizational shift towards Scrum and other agile methodologies and practices. He is President and Principal Coach at the boutique consulting firm RGCG and Agile Moose.

Bob regularly speaks at international conferences and professional groups on software development, project management, software testing, and team leadership. He is a Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC), Certified Agile Leadership (CAL) Educator, and an active Agile & Scrum Alliances member.

Bob is heavily involved in volunteering to assist the Scrum Alliance in its agile coaching efforts. To that end, he regularly volunteers to facilitate and participate in Scrum Gathering Coaching Clinics. He's also involved in the Agile Coaching Growth Wheel evolutionary efforts and was an SME contributor to the new (2022) ACE-AF certification definition. 

He’s published three agile-focused books: Extraordinarily Badass Agile Coaching in 2022, The Three Pillars of Agile Quality and Testing in 2015, Scrum Product Ownership in 2019 – 3’rd Edition, and Agile Reflections in 2012. He’s also a prolific writer & blogger (at - www.rgalen.com and www.agile-moose.com ) and podcaster (at www.meta-cast.com )

Bob actively provides on-site and virtual coaching, continuously sharpening his CEC coaching chops. Many refer to Bob as a "Coach of Coaches" as he has deep experience coaching all levels of teams and organizations.
