Certified ScrumMaster

Certified ScrumMaster - Kolkata

All CSM courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers. Taking a CSM course, passing the CSM test, and accepting the license agreement designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster, which indicates that you have been introduced to and understand the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum team. This course also satisfies two elements of the CSD track: Scrum Introduction and Elective.

This 2-day course helps you learn Scrum in depth, from theory to practice, and prepares you to take on the key scrum role of Scrum Master.

On day one, we start from the Scrum foundation, including its history, its place as an Agile method, and how empirical process control applies for complex projects. With the foundation securely in place, we delve into Scrum in detail, starting with the sprint and moving into the major aspects of the Scrum framework including the Product Backlog, Estimating, Planning, Review, and Retrospective.

The course is designed into modules that last up to one hour. Each module concentrates on one aspect of the curriculum, usually accompanied with one or more practical exercises and discussions.

On the day two we focus on the scrum roles and pull together all we have learned about roles, artifacts, and rituals in scrum to form an integrated conceptual whole. In the afternoon, we explore Scrum Master role and the team role in detail and follow that with a session to answer practical, real-world questions from the class.
