Agile methodologies are already being used by number of very small companies. Sometimes those mid-sized organizations start experimenting with them as well. However, in Czech IT industry they form an island rather negligible in size than the main stream.

The purpose of Agilia Conference is to demonstrate to mid and large companies achievements that may be gained by adopting agile management and methodologies. Conference aims on executives and top managers of enterprises, which employs great number of IT personnel; however their output, level of people’s engagement, innovation and drive is lagging behind Europe average. It is institutions like large system integrators, banks, software houses, insurance companies, consulting companies and similar.

In co-operation with Masaryk University of Brno we will present agile management with Jurgen Appelo as keynote speaker, who will explain why it is management the key driving force of agile movement. The event will continue with presentation of success stories from IT departments of government institutions, insurance companies, banks, telco carriers and/or automotive.
