Tracks
The Rhino Room – Like Rhino’s who stamp out fires in the bushveld, ScrumMasters stamp out impediments in organisations. This track will be focused on ScrumMaster skills.
The Lion’s Den - It’s a jungle out there, most Product Owners will agree. Customers are more demanding and competition is more threatening everyday. This track will be focused on helping Product Owners be the king of their jungle.
The Buffalo Herd – There is nothing quite as impressive as a herd of buffalo stampeding through the veld, nothing except a high performance Scrum team that is. This track is for the people who do the real work in Scrum: developers, testers, team members.
The Elephant in the Room - Management in Scrum… we think it’s time to talk about the elephant in the room. This track will be dedicated to management and leadership and their place in agile organisations.
The Leopard Lounge – Even the most avid learners get full sometimes. The Leopard Lounge will be a place to relax when your brain is full and you need a break, or a place to connect between sessions and have those important conversations with other delegates which are what makes a Scrum Gathering special.
Speaker Information
Speaker Proposal Submission Form
The program is made up of a mix of sessions, the following session types are available:
Keynote talk [60 minute slot]
Breakaway Session [90 minute slot] – These can range from interactive workshops, to formal talks, or a combination. A breakaway session should indicate which track it is best suited to. If you have a topic that covers 180 minutes, we may consider 2 back to back Breakaway sessions, however for a 180 minutes session it would need to be a fairly interactive session.
Lightening Talks [10 minute slot]
Interactive Sessions [30 minute slot] – These can be games, workshops, anything hands on. The goal is to have these later in the day when people won’t have the attention span for a formal talk.
