Topic: What’s Hot in Agile?
This interactive session will touch on many topics. The format will be that of a TV interview. Alan will play Oprah and provide some initial questions for Perry. There will be plenty of audience questions and participation – so bring your burning questions.
The context for the discussion will be the Agile 2011 Conference that recently occurred. Agile 2011 occurred on the 10 year anniversary of the drafting/signing of the agile Manifesto, had a wide range of topics. Perry will recap the “latest and greatest” thinking on many of the topics such as
- Keynotes – “An Agile Mindset” (by Linda Rising), “Positivity” (by Barbera Frederickson)
- Complexity Frameworks
- Distributed development (from Scott Ambler and others)
- Ux with development (from Jeff Patton and others)
- Games and the use of games
While there will be a few slides to summarize key topics and provide lots of references, this will be an interactive session.
