Now in its third year, AgileDC 2012 has quickly transitioned from a lean workshop and networking event, cobbled together by a pioneering group of Agile enthusiasts, to become one of the hottest tickets in Washington DC’s Agile community. There are multiple tracks, covering a variety of topics for both commercial and government sectors, led by our areas’ leading Agile luminaries , that appeal to seasoned practitioners, novices seeking to refine their skills, as well as those looking for a way to quick-start their exposure to Agile methodologies. Additionally, attendees will have ample opportunity to network with exceptional Sponsors, who are committed to supporting Agile locally, as well as their fellow Agile enthusiasts.
This year’s Keynote will be presented by Jim Highsmith, a co-author of the Agile Manifesto, founding member of The AgileAlliance and prolific author. Mr. Highsmith is presently serving as an Executive Consultant with ThoughtWorks, Inc., and is considered to be one of the foremost experts in implementing Agile within large complex IT organizations.
