I am leading and effort within the Global Marketing Operations Group(Internal Software for Marketing) to roll out Agile development. We are onboarding over 40 software teams and 18 projects to Scrum. The teams are a mix between fully collocated, fully off shore, and a mix of both. This roll has been an excellent learning experience for the difficulties with implementing Scrum in an enterprise company with a very deeply ingrained culture of waterfall and heavy reporting and documentation. To convince Microsoft groups to move and work in an agile way can sometimes be a job in itself.
