Having earned my bones in management seemingly immediately after leaving University, I have always either been playing the corporate stakeholder, product owner or project manager roles.

Initially I was very much the accidental manager, being in the right place at the right time. However when given the opportunity, you should take it and if you sink or swim at least you will know that you gave it your best. Fortunately I swam and was surrounded by a good team that helped me gain vital skills that I have been fortunate enough to expand over the years.

I enjoy exploring different concepts and theories regarding management and project management in general, and always feel that no matter what framework or methodology you have chosen or best suits you, the most important tool of the trade has been for me people skills and man management.

Currently I am playing in the Agile lake and using my Scrum boat to try and get people across in the most efficient and fun way.
