I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelors of Science. I majored in Software Engineering with minors in Mathematics and Computer Science. While at Platteville I was a three sport athlete (Cross Country, Indoor & Outdoor Track). During my athletic career I earned several All-Conference and All-Region awards including All-American Honors. At the end of my senior year I received a Career Achievement Award in recognition of an outstanding athletic career. I graduated in 2008 from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
Out of college I started full time at Autologik, Division of Dorner Mfg. Corp. in Hartland, WI. I had started with them a few years earlier (2006) as an Intern and for a Co-op (2007). At Autologik, I developed software in a .Net environment for real-time automation distribution sorters. The division closed down in the fall of 2008.
I quickly moved to Brady Corporation in fall of 2008 as a developer and worked on Label and Printing Software. I mostly wrote in a .Net (desktop) environment but also worked on some web projects as well. Towards the end of 2011 I moved into a ScrumMaster position and was certified in March 2011. I have been a ScrumMaster until the present day. However I recently took a leave of absence to figure out my next career path. Whether its to get my MBA or return to development.
I enjoy running and I am attempting to qualify for the Boston Marathon next year. I have already run two marathons. I enjoy traveling and will be going on a vacation this summer to Ireland. I live in Milwaukee's Eastside.
