At Intrasoft International I had the opportunity to deepen my knowledge with Rational Unified Process (RUP) and its variations (RUP @ European Commission and RUP @ IBM) through the Technical Project Manager, Team Leader and Senior Software Engineer/Architect roles that I carried out. Project planning, requirements analysis, IT architecture, quality management, risk management, team leading, communication management with distributed, international teams, conflict management, release and deployment management, software design, development and performance optimizations in different Java/JEE projects developed for the Finance, Excise, Trademark, Justice, Customs, Consular Protection and Antitrafficking of Human Beings fields were the most encountered activities of the last years for me. I have started projects, built teams and delivered successful prototypes and projects. These prototypes won contracts and I have led teams through the whole software development process and delivered presentations and demos to the clients. Cross-functional teams, international experience, distributed teams are aspects that occurred in the experience I had so far. During these years, I have extended my education and knowledge through the Sun Certified Enterprise Architect for Java EE 5.0 (SCEA), Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Cloud Security Alliance Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), Cloud Computing Expert at The Art of Service certifications and through the Oracle ATG Web Commerce Foundation & Extensions Training.

Java/JEE Software Developer at IQuest Technologies

The most significant aspects of my experience at Quest Technologies were the software design and development in all application layers, bug fixing, support, performance analysis and optimization in different Java/JEE projects developed for the E-Commerce, Business Process Management (BPM), document management and for the management of questionnaires as part of market research fields. During these projects, I managed to acquire a deep experience as software engineer in agile teams. I had the possibility to apply different agile methodologies such as Scrum, Extreme Programming, Test Driven Development and Feature Driven Development. I had the opportunity to use proprietary technologies (Blue Martini) as well as open source frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Tapestry) in the context of intranet and internet applications in which I have been involved. With the Virgin Atlantic Airlines (VAA) Ticket Booking Internet Project, I had the possibility to acquire international experience in London, UK. During these years, I have extended my education and knowledge through the Sun certification (Sun Certified Programmer for J2SE 5.0) and through the postgraduate course “Web Services” at the Technical University in Cluj-Napoca.
