ProdScan: ProdScan application is used for collection of inventory data for a Hospital, Facility and Section by the designated user. The Hospital will be collecting the inventory on the regular intervals and this data collection is called as “Evaluation” So each Hospital will have an Evaluation and there can be Multiple Facilities for each Hospital and Multiple Sections for each Facility. There are two components in the ProdScan application. Once is Device’s Native application and the other is a web application. The user uses IPad to collect Inventory data, taking a photograph of the product label. The OCR component Tesseract is used to convert the image into the text. The user can collect the text into the data fields and the data will be saved into the ipad’s SQLite database. Once the collection for the section is completed, user will upload the data onto web server using WCF services. The web component will be used by Admin to create Hospitals, Evaluations, Facilities and Sections. The option to edit the uploaded data also is provided to Managers and Admin on web application. The web application can be used to upload Purchase History and Item master of the hospital with which the spent analysis will be done and the reports will be produced.

Messaging Plug-in: Client uses a line-of-business application called Jazz. This application is web based and has been developed using a third party framework called EXT.NET. Jazz is used to store items like Plans and Reports. Client’s team collaborates on each Plan or Report. Communication by the team takes place with respect to a plan or report. Client would like to capture this communication within Jazz and also provide it as historical information whenever a plan or report is accessed. Strata Decisions would like to have a Messaging Application developed those ties into Jazz for keeping track of messages exchanged between team members from any email client they use while they work and discuss on a plan or report. This plugin should capture every communication logs into the database using WCF services. There are about 12 WCF Services in this application.

Radio Proposal: Design, Development of Web Application using Microsoft MVC 3 that will act as an interface to the users to produce Radio Proposal XML file which is in compliance to XSD of aaaa.com which is used by the client to quote the advertisement slots in different radio stations. The user also can import the modified XML file after XSD Validation into the application and modify and regenerate the XML file. While importing the application shows the database version and the XML version of proposals side by side for comparing both. The version management is in place and user can save different versions of proposals.

DoAll Vendor Notifications: Design, Development of web application which sends notification emails to different vendors reminding them for sending invoices for the products the clients has purchased through DoAll. The system will fetch data from the intermediate file generated by DoAll’s ERP system and sends the notification emails after processing the data. One notification email will be sent to each vendor per day with a CSV attachment that will be created on fly depending on the promise date for that order number. If the promise date is exceeding certain number of days, system will send all such records as a CSV attachment to DoAll as Escalation email.

AX Role Centre on Mobile: This project is to develop mobile interface for different dashboard items of AX Role Centre in Enterprise Portal of Microsoft Dynamics AX, with which the AX user can view different Management reports given by default on the AX Role Centre dashboard in his / her mobile phone. The native mobile application will talk to AX database through SSRS reports and the SSRS reports will be dynamically plotted on to the mobile user interface. The parameters of the reports were captured in ASP.Net page and based on user selection the report will be plotted in report viewer on ASP.Net webpage. The mobile application is talking to Dynamics AX using Microsoft Business Connector and getting the user authenticated. The application also shows the WebParts of SharePoint on the mobile which was achieved by hiding the Headers, Launch bars etc… using CSS classes and applying the classes to the webpart page.

The current scope is to add two more attributes “Size” and “Colour” to the existing application in all the above said functionality and modify the code so that this will consider these attributes while processing.
