My name is Steven Hawkes.  I have been living and working in Switzerland now for over 12 years.   

My background is mostly realtime but since living in Switzerland I thought it wise to gain some banking experience, so for the past 4 years I have been working in the Investment Bank Arena with UBS.   During my time in Software development I have had a number of roles from Developer to Project Manager but always with a hands on theme.

I have had first hand expose to a number of methodologies and for the past 2 years I have been actively using Agile Methods.   I have tended to specialise in .NET developement with a focus on GUI developments.    I also have an active interest in build / test automation.   

 My goal is to work on a project where the GUI is based on the Composite Application Block (CAB), middle tier based on CSLA and the database connectivity to be  based on NHibernate.  For which i am still searching :-)
