After completing my Masters in linguistics, civilization, and technical interpreting and translating, I taught at the University of Texas at Austin. In the past two decades I have contributed to and managed several international teams for R&D and localization projects for several international companies of all sizes and in industry sectors. I have had the privilege of developing and implementing migrations for large-scale, enterprise-level localization and content creation and delivery systems. I have also successfully devised and delivered conversion projects for legacy systems (like FrameMaker) into standards-based (like DocBook) and proprietary systems, including CMS-driven solutions (Vasont).
