Ciaran Kennedy has extensive experience and knowledge of IT, Technology, Software Development and Projects. Having worked in IT for over a decade, he recently founded a new Agile startup called Chillistore Technologies Ltd (2010). This is an Agile Software Company (www.chillitech.ie) based in Dublin, Ireland. Ciaran brings to the business his extensive hands on leadership and knowledge in the areas of Software Project Management and Agile Business Development with a key focus around Agile frameworks and delivery (Scrum).

Ciaran is suitably qualified to assist your business in the management and delivery of your technology requirements regardless of size, scale or scope. Ciaran holds a first class BSc (hons) Computer Science and MSc specializing in Technology Management and Innovation from the Smurfit Business School, is a Prince2 Practitioner and since 2007 has fulfilled the role as Agile Coach and Practitioner for Clients. Ciaran has been awarded Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Professional by the Scrum Alliance in recognition of his achievements.

Chillistore Technologies provide a number of turnkey agile services to the market including Scrum Development Teams, Agile Coaching, Scrum Training & Certifications as well as Software Localization Services. All of these services are delivered in an agile fashion that is collaborative, flexible and suits the needs of today’s modern IT companies. Chillistore has already successfully provided a number of key agile services within the software development department at Globoforce, a SaaS provider of Reward & Recognition Software based in Ireland & Boston.

At Chillistore we a have an R&D department for innovative projects and currently have a Cloud based Services Project under development. We are well positioned to assist your business to deliver on any requirements you might have working closely with leaders in the industry. Prior to establishing Chillistore, Ciaran successfully ran his own Software Product and Project Management Company in the UK for a number of years. His portfolio of past companies and clients over the years include both blue chip businesses and high tech startup companies; Microsoft (7 years), Eircom, Ocado, Babelgum (Web 2.0 Online Video Services), ESB Independent Energy, EFT Energy Inc (Enterprise Energy Management SaaS) and many more.

In his spare time Ciaran is the proud father of a three year old boy called George who is already practicing the art of Scrum and Agile delivery!

He is also the founding father of Scrum Ireland (est. 2008, www.scrum.ie), the world’s first Scrum Social Network dedicated to IT Professionals based in Ireland and further afield who are passionate about learning more, sharing scrum and agile practices across company boundaries. This is a growing Scrum Community and we are always interested to hear from any potential network sponsors out there that might be interested in helping us to support and develop this network to grow. Ciaran also likes to give back to the community & lecture on Scrum which he is clearly passionate about.
