While in high school I decided to study business administration and industrial engineering. While studying I joined numerous side activities and after a few years I also started working at an Engineering firm called DHV (now named Royal Haskoning DHV). It was at DHV that I discovered my interest in IT and in project management. The integration of international offices within the IT infrastructure of DHV was a great conclusion of my time at DHV, coincidentally completing my courses at the university of Eindhoven. By that time my personal life had changed profoundly, settling in the Utrecht area with my wife etc etc.

Seeking ever larger challenges I joined Siemens IT Solutions an Services. Here I was introduced in software development and system integration projects. In the course of 2011 Atos Origin acquired the IT division of Siemens and together these companies continued under the name of Atos, further improving the professional challenges available. 

Meanwhile, scrum is becoming a standard requirement in system development projects in the Netherlands, so I did the course at Xebia and ended up here. I thoroughly enjoyed the course, which opened up another area of project management to me.
