Designed, implemented and established a 24 x 7 Theater Network Support Center (TNSC) collocated with the 93rd Signal Brigade at the South – Theater Network Operations and Security Center (TNOSC) in Fort Gordon, Georgia to monitor and manage the SOUTHCOM Theater Information Grid and to support JTF-GNO NetOps CONOPS. The TNSC was successful in supporting the SOUTHCOM J6 and all SOUTHCOM components NetOps functions in less than one month following initial implementation. Stood up the USSOUTHCOM Theater NetOps Control Center in direct response to the US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Joint Task Force – Global Network Operations NetOps CONOPS in less than three weeks and under budget. Worked closely with the USSOUTHCOM Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4S) Directorate (J6) and the USSOUTHCOM DISA Field Office commander to establish the footprint for a Theater NetOps Center (TNC) in the Southern Theater Information Grid. Managed the technical operations for a $12M DoD program providing a homeland security infrastructure aimed at combating narcoterrorism in the Gulf of Mexico states. Set the technical direction for the program ensuring the security and reliability for a complex network designed to share case management data amongst state and federal law enforcement investigative agencies.
