Performance Management:
Managed the profiling & performance team with the goal of producing tuned, high-performance releases iteratively (every 6 weeks) and within critical deadlines (compliance deadlines, EU mandates). Also managed a porting team producing Linux & z/OS versions of Sentenial’s EuroDebit product releases.
Established project control (configuration management, resource balancing & interviewing, reporting, scope, risks, issues, communications, change control) and the activity planning of 12 reportees for in-house, client-site and offshore activities (at IBM Germany test facilities) through use of the Agile/Scrum methodology.
Single point of contact with stakeholders (RBS, ABN), internal teams and external vendors (IBM performance/ systems specialists, Perot Systems consultants).
Senior Technical Project Manager:
Governed the full life-cycle engineering of a program of J2EE/XML projects integrating Sentenial’s direct debit management product with financial institution systems (clients: ABN, RBS; 3 parallel releases).
Single point of contact to bank stakeholders.
Managed the task planning of 11 reportees (Technical Consultants, BAs & QAs) and offshore vendor relationship (Capgemini sub-contracted for 50% of development) through usage of the Scrum methodology (1-4 week sprints).
Established project control (budget: €1 million, resource balancing & interviewing, reporting, scope, risks, issues, communications, change control) and new joiner 90-day roadmap strategy (training, workshops, learning plan and end-of-sprint presentations).
