Xavier Albaladejo started in Agile in 2002 using XP practices like Continuous Integration, velocity, burndowns and 2-week iterations so as to let his customers driving their own projects. In 2006 entered in the world of IT Governance, working in PMOs to roll out Master Plans for the public administration. Nowadays his work ranges from coaching teams in Agile (Scrum and Kanban) to the use of Lean techniques and power workshops in the improvement of IT departments and larger organizations like Vodafone, Endesa, Zurich, CDMon or Odigeo, among others.
Xavier Albaladejo teaches Scrum courses within the “Executive Education - Custom Programs” of La Salle Business Engineering School (Universidad Ramon Llull, Barcelona) and he coordinates a postgraduate on Agile in the same University.
Xavier Albaladejo is founder of www.proyectosagiles.org, a Spanish website devoted to spreading Scrum in any department or business (not only software development) where teamworking and product management are key points.
Xavier is Certified Scrum Master, Scrum Alliance member and part of the Board of Directors of Agile Spain. He has participated in the organization of Agile Open Spain 2009, Conferencia Agile Spain 2010, XP2011 (12th International Conference on Agile Software Development) as Industry Program Co-Chair and in Scrum Gathering Barcelona 2012 as part of the Review Comitee. He has hold sessions in several conferences.
