After his Master of Science in Geology in 1997 Sven worked as scientist studying sea bottom temperatures anomalies in the Russian arctic. Since 2000 he works at ppi Media. Sven worked for 3 years as consultant for national and international newspaper companies carrying out on-site software installations and projects.

Sven works as product manager for different products ranging from editorial frameworks to Plug-Ins and XTensions for InDesign and Quark since 2003.

Sven’s first contact with Scrum was in 2008 when he participated in his first Scrum project as Product Owner for a team of 20 members. In 2009 he was part of the Enterprise Transition Crew for coaching other product owners. As of end of 2009 he is product owner for a team of 8 members.
