Agile Coach at Mentor Graphics
Marlborough, MA 01752 United States www.mentor.com
August 2008-Present
Part of a transition team that started rolling out scrum to the Systems Design Division in 2008. Since then, I have trained over 100 people internally on scrum itself, and have trained approx. 30 ScrumMasters and approx. 30 Product Owners with role-specific classes. I am one of 2 full time coaches in our community of approx. 200 people on scrum teams within the division, and our rollout is only 1/2 completed to-date. We are still actively rolling out new teams while also addressing issues of scrum at an enterprise scale. Outside of work, I am an elected steering committee member of the Boston chapter of SPIN (Software Process Improvement Network) www.boston-spin.org, I also am a volunteer instructor and administrator for the Agile 101 program at Agile New England www.agilenewengland.org
QA Program Manager at Mentor Graphics
Marlborough, MA 01752 United States www.mentor.com
April 2002-December 2004
Served as a program manager for the QA organization within the Systems Design Division. This was a waterfall environment. Primary role was to ensure our globally distributed QA operations were coordinating and were following the same patterns as the US-based QA organization. This also involved coordinating project ownership transitions between offices, hiring and training.
