Jean joined Cigna as an contractor in May 2010 to provide Scrum Master expertise and to lead a team to successful delivery. The expectations of her role were to deliver the project successfully, then expand her role as a lead for the Agile Center of Excellence within the organization. She is currently managing her own projects as PM and Scrum Master and providing Agile training and coaching to other teams in addition to providing Agile, specifically Scrum, expertise across the Cigna enterprise.

Jean began working at The Hartford in September 2001 in the role of a Business Analyst and became a Project Manager in 2003. She received her CSM in mid-July 2008 and successfully implemented several projects as a Scrum Master and Project Manager with her teams. She led the Agile adoption efforts within her group and was seen as an Agile expert prior to her departure in May 2010.
