DOE at USAF United States Air Force Direct Attack Division – Eglin AFB Aug 09 to Present Director of Engineering, EBD (GS-15) Selected to lead this large portfolio of weapons. Is responsible for managing multiple, highly complex, and major weapon systems that are national in scope, including the premiere Air-to-Surface Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM). Establishes policies and procedures for accomplishment of the engineering mission within the Division. Makes authoritative engineering decisions pertinent to securing successful development, acquisition, and sustainment of armament weapon systems to include Foreign Military Sales (FMS). Supervises subordinate engineering Subject Matter Experts/Chief Engineers at the Division and Branch Level. United States Air Force 683rd ARSS/EN – Eglin AFB Jan 07 to Aug 09 Chief Engineer, Sensor Fuzed Weapon (GS-14/YF-02) Selected to lead this major acquisition program. Plans, directs, and controls the collocated engineering resources, dedicated engineering activities, and support contractor tasking to provide overall engineering support to the programs and projects within the squadron/group. Assesses technical requirements and formulates organizational strategies to effectively allocate engineering resources among tasks to achieve an optimum balance of technical support to the programs and projects. United States Air Force Air Armament Center (AAC) Engineering – Eglin AFB Aug 2004 to Jan 2007 Handpicked to lead this important division of 24 people and three branches. Provides systems management workforce resource allocation, selection, and mentoring for engineering, program management, acquisition logistics and support (admin, management assistants, technicians, etc). Provides career development and training, oversight, policy, standards and benchmarking, information cross-flow, tools for systems engineering, systems management and logistics workforce. Lead for all POM and BRAC activities within the Directorate. Ensures appropriate skills mix is available to meet essential Air Armament Center mission requirements. North Carolina Air National Guard – Charlotte IAP 145th Airlift Wing Aug 1990 to Present Currently deployed to Kabul Afghanistan with USFOR-A, JENG, Plans Division. Responsible for all US, Coalition and Afghan basing requirements in the Kabul area. As the 245th CEF Operations Officer is responsible for all construction projects, short/long term deployments and training the staff of Professional Engineers/Architects. Has held three different commands with over eight years of command experience and under wartime conditions. Has been deployed to several major continents around the world with national and international impacts. Was recognized by the Ambassador of Central Africa Republic for his work in training the local engineers in construction management under austere conditions.
