For a large digital interactive marketing agency in development of client’s interactive marketing Internet site, on a two year project, which was determined to best be delivered by agile within a traditional development shop; taught, coached, and mentored the Client, the Developers that became the Team, and colleagues how to use Scrum in what became a multi-continent distributed team environment, including: •Performed estimates and managed versus actuals (burndown and burnup charts). •How to lead and participated in sprint planning and retrospectives sessions. •Led the Daily Scrum meeting. •Created User Stories. •Managed Product Backlog. •How to lead and led sprint reviews as Product Owner. •How to remove impediments for the team. •Taught team how to determine sprint goals and kept team focused on sprint goals throughout the project. •Determined and tracked team velocity. •How to do and led Scrum of Scrums to collaborate with other project managers on other projects for client. •Performed the role of the Product Owner that ensured the Scrum Team worked with the right business priorities and the correct requirements for each sprint. •Managed the QA effort, developed test plans, user acceptance tests, and doing the triage prioritization of defects. The RESULT was the day after website went live the client’s stock price went up 20% and their CAP increased over $133 million.
