In his 13 years of honorable service as a U.S. Navy Surface Warfare Officer and eight years in operations and information technology roles, Bill developed the kind of complex project leadership and process improvement skills necessary to help clients achieve the results they want. During his naval career, Bill served tours in surface combatants leading teams in operations, engineering and combat systems departments. His shore tours included two tours in Bahrain as Exercise Officer for Commander, Destroyer Squadron 50 where he planned and led multinational exercises for two years; and Tomahawk Strike Officer for Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command where he led the multinational TLAM strike operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Prior to co-founding RoundTurn, Bill was a Senior IT Program Manager at Genworth Financial and executed a diverse and challenging project portfolio.

Bill is a 1989 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a 1994 graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School. He holds a B.S. in Ocean Engineering and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He is a trained GE Six Sigma Master Black Belt, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

RoundTurn provides process improvement and information technology consulting services and specializes in Lean Government - the application of Lean and Six-Sigma production principles and methods to identify and implement the most efficient and value-added ways clients can provide government services.
