I'm Bill Nicolich. My area is fairly small projects and small teams, typically doing back office systems integration, database development and administration, web development and internal application development.

A guiding principle I use is to stay focused on protecting the assets of the company. Along with that there's managing project risks, getting further into the safety zone, using the smallest adjustments possible and briding the objectives gap between the minds of business people and the technology people.

Some agile techniques require team members to not be beginners. However, it's a common situation for teams to be composed of junior-level non-experts. So, I'm interested in adaptations specific to these situations.
