Like so many others in the Alliance, Rich Has been in the industry over 25 years. Working in companies with as little as 7 developers to companies with > 100k employees. He has been involved in software development, process improvement, project management, process re-engineering, information engineering and supply chain management. When Ken Schwaber came to our modest company (400 employees) in south Florida to carry the Scrum torch – I was skeptical at first but after the first Scrum Team was launched and soon after the next 10 teams and then the next 10 teams, I was a convert as the Scrum process rolled out like water over a falls. I found it easy to be an advocate of the Scrum process especially after having the battle scars from other waterfall type project management failures. With all that said – I’m currently a senior project manager and Certified Scrum Practitioner in a company in Knoxville. Here I brought my new found Scrum habits and process to help turn another proverbial battleship in a pond. It’s working. Again. J
