Denver, CO — Scrum Alliance®, the largest, most established and influential professional membership organization and certifying body in the Agile community, announces that its Global Scrum Gathering® in Prague kicks off today. Hundreds of people from around the world will be attending this event. Several members of Scrum Alliance’s Board of Directors and Scrum Alliance CEO Manny Gonzalez are also attending and speaking to participants.
"As part of our mission to transform the world of work, we host several events around the world each year to bring Agile and Scrum communities together," said Gonzalez. "We have seen membership growing rapidly and host a Global Gathering in the U.S. each year as well as one in another part of the world. With the increasing popularity of Scrum events globally, we decided this was a good time to host one in Prague."
The purpose of Global Gatherings is to offer business leaders, managers, corporations, and practitioners worldwide the opportunity to come together to share their passion and knowledge of Scrum and Agile practices. Attendees will hear presentations from experts in the field who will inspire them with stories of success, current implementation best practices, and creative applications of the Scrum framework.

Global Gatherings are historically held twice per year; once in the United States in the spring and once again in Europe in the fall.
