Angie Pate - Agile Professional & Servant Leader. Actively working with teams and overall organization to adopt agile best practices.

I actively worked with teams to help them transition from waterfall to agile. As an agile coach, I help teams continuously improve and educate not only teams but others outside the team in order to create an environment of learning and continous improvement. I help the orgainzations with transitioning to agile by starting with piloting a team to set as an example of how scrum teams function and then I help expand agile practices to other teams.

As an agile leader I embody servant leadership to support teams and provide them with the enviorment, tools, and support needed to do their job well. I encouraged the practice of agile concepts, values and principles. As a Scrum Master I facilitate scrum events and teach teams to become self-aware and self-organizing.  I have used mock sessions and workshops to demonstrate relative estimating, user story writing, how to collaborate within a team, user story mapping and more.

As a former Product Manager, I've been able to teach how to set vision and sprint goals for teams. My product background helps me coach Product Owners how to prioritize product backlogs, write quality user stories, and to think from a customer, end-user perspective. In addition to being an Agile Leader, Agile Coach, Scrum Master and Product Owner I was also a developer for 15 years and a Business Analyst for 6 years. I have managed teams that consist of business analysts, user experience designers and tech writers.
