Fred Meng have been working in the field of software development since 2000 with a focus on Agile, Lean, leadership, management and process improvement since 2008.
Along the way, I have served in the roles of Developer, Team Lead, Project Manager, Product Manager, Scrum Master, Process Improvement Consultant, Agile Coach and Facilitator.
I am a passionate advocate for the benefits of quality and productivity made possible via Agile or Lean methods. My firm belief, rooted in experience, is that Agile/Lean can provide the way to better products, built faster, with more engaged employees and delighted customers. Prior to working as a agile coach, I successfully built Agile teams from the ground up, transformed a waterfall team to Scrum, collaborated with management peers for a department-wide Agile adoption using Scrum/kanban, and helped design and lead a scaled Agile implementation for several teams/organizations.
Since being a dedicated agile consultant, I have had the opportunity to work with various clients in the information or telecom industries, providing training, coaching and consulting guidance at the team level and scaled Agile program level. Knowing firsthand the challenges of implementing Agile across a wide variety of organizational settings, I am able to meet teams where they are at and help them discover their path to Agile, team and organizational success.
