Janette Toral

Janette Toral created awareness about the Capability Maturity Model and Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) in the Philippines since 2001 that lead to the national government's priority work areas for 2003.

Janette created the DigitalFilipino SPIN site in 2004 to promote the concept of having a Philippine Software Process Improvement Network (PH-SPIN) and advocate the adoption of CMMI in the Philippines.

She has been conducting CMMI related workshops since 2002 and trained around 200 companies in the Philippines on Software Process Improvement.

Janette also renders consulting for companies who needs help in training their personnel on various areas related to CMMI, develop software process improvement action plan, and in coming up with an institutionalized software development policy.

Janette Toral is an e-commerce advocate. Promoting the growth of e-commerce in the Phlippines since 1997.
