About
Title: Software Engineer/Developer/Architect
Rey Vincent Babilonia is a Java developer with preference for Spring, a Grid and cluster computing advocate, a stock investor, a baker, an Agilist and a technology manager.
He was exposed to agile software development when a team from DOST-ASTI showcased Extreme Programming. When he joined ASTICOM, the client was using Scrum and he quickly adapted the framework. It proved advantageous in his next job with Kambi. His role is mostly in the development team with a ScumMaster role on a rotating basis. He shared and applied his Scrum knowledge with his former employer, ON Semiconductor, which uses traditional waterfall SDLC.
He now lives in Auckland with his wife and son.
