About
My name is Rob Hoover.
I am currently an Agile Sustainability Lead at The Hartford. I am passionate about Agile, Scrum, DevOps / DataOps and Quality, but most importantly getting the best value for the business and working on excited and engaged teams.
I spent most of my life in New York, and moved to the Charlotte, NC area back in Summer 2010. Regarding professional experience, I have been in Financial Services since 1997, almost all of that in IT, and I have been pretty much exclusively in Agile environments since summer 2003. My roles have spanned Transformation Lead, Agile Coach, ScrumMaster, Product Owner, Product Manager, Data Operations, BA, Director, and last but not least QA.
My outside or work passions include my family, outdoors, reptiles (especially snakes, including my pet corn snake Comet), and technology- including but not limited to reading up on topics like Agile and inspiring teams, playing with Python (the language, not the snake- at least not this year), and playing occasional video games.
