Rahul Joshi

I am a technical manager with around 15 years of experience. Most of my experience has been into developing financial solutions for the quite a few leading Investment Banks. I have an inclination for implementing processes whether it is development or management related. I have been following scrum since 2003.

I have played the role of a team member to begin the journey into the scrum role. I have developed the multiple skills set to assist me being a cross functional team member on the team. I learned the art of System Testing and test automation to help me achieve this goal.

I am currently working a Scrum Master in the project that i am handling. As a scrum master i have to handle a distributed Scrum team which few team members working out of a different international location. I have worked towards setting up standards of Stand up meeting in the distributed environment. I have made heavy use of communication media's like Video conferencing, desktop sharing and webcam usage for executing sprints.

I am a regular attendee of various scrum alliance events that happen in India. I have also been a speaker on Agile and Scrum subject on atleast two of the occassion.

I am the process champion of the Scrum implementation in my current organisation. I am the advocate for the Agile (especially scrum) practices in my organisation. I am involved in imparting training to the other team members of the organisation. As of today I have coached around 6 batches of 18 people each in last year. I have achieved an average score of 4.78 out of 5 from participants on the deliver of the subject. 

I have also been coaching and assisting fellow scrum teams on their day to day scrum tasks. I have guided scrum master on handling the product owner and team communication. I have coached Product Owner on how to write user stories and build a priortized product backlog.
