Robert Jake Sarmiento

As a credentialed Agile Leader, Professional Agile Coach and Scrum Professional, Robert actively seeks to apply and passionately shares with others, Scrum values and agile principles with an eye towards achieving agile transformations for work cultures, projects and the workplace as a whole. He now passionately looks for ways to transform the workplace with Agile and Scrum.

Robert had taken great interest and delight in agile and continuous improvement, that even prior to becoming a Certified ScrumMaster, he took initiatives on introducing Scrum as a way of promoting agile practices in a previous company in the logistics line. He had coached their teams on Agile and Scrum to kickstart awareness and to pave the way for adoption of Scrum for their various teams in their IT department.

Earlier in his career, Robert has been a Microsoft Certified Trainer for over 9 years since 2003 with a focus on .NET development technologies. Apart from occasional involvement on technical preview seminars for Microsoft, Robert has provided consulting and training to clients and organisations in Manila and Singapore including Accenture, NCS Singapore, Credit Suisse, ST Technologies, National University of Singapore (NUS), Infocomm Development Authority and Autodesk. He has also on some occassion, written training modules for corporate trainings during early stages of technology introduction and market adoption such as Microsoft AJAX.
