Teresa Nick

Teresa has worked on a broad range of technologies with industry, academia, and government, including DAQRI, Medtronic, Caltech, and the U.S. National Institutes of Health. She particularly enjoys building and working with systems that dynamically react and adapt to incoming data. Teresa brings >25 years of experience in signal processing, statistics, machine learning, and cyber-physical systems. She has led science and engineering teams to publish scientific manuscripts and build wearables. Her patent submissions include aspects of data pipelines that bridge cloud and mobile platforms, as well as novel analytics algorithms and improvements in sensors. Teresa holds a neuroscience Ph.D. from Yale and previously directed a research lab for ten years at the University of Minnesota, where she was a tenured professor of neuroscience. She also has undergraduate degrees in zoology, psychology, and IT infrastructure.
