Become a Certified ScrumMaster by the Scrum Alliance
The Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master® course is interactive, experiential, and suited for all levels of Scrum experience. Whether you are new to Scrum or an experienced professional, this class prepares you for success with Scrum in your organization. Our course curriculum sets the standard for Scrum know-how, drawing on our inventive exercises and real-world experience of implementing Scrum across industries, including energy, finance, healthcare, defense and technology.
A Certified ScrumMaster helps project teams properly use Scrum, increasing the likelihood of the project's overall success. CSMs understand Scrum values, practices, and applications and provide a level of knowledge and expertise above and beyond that of typical project managers. CSMs act as "servant leaders," helping the rest of the Scrum team work together and learn the Scrum framework. CSMs also protect the team from both internal and external distractions.
Learn By Doing
At the start of class, you will become part of a self-organized Scrum Team and through games and exercises, will learn the Scrum roles, create and prioritize product backlog items, and learn the Scrum events to enable your agility. Our case studies and interactive exercises teach the patterns proven to accelerate your Scrum practice.
Upon successful completion of class you will:
- Be prepared to pass the Certified ScrumMaster test
- Be qualified to lead teams in any environment or industry as a Scrum Master
- Have the opportunity to network with industry leaders and Agile professionals
- Access to a 2-year membership with Scrum Alliance
- Access to membership benefits to join local user groups, online social networks, gain access to deep discounts on gatherings, and additional member-only resources
- Use a specially designed logo to highlight your newly-earned CSM credentials.
