The *WEEKEND* Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Product Owner® course is interactive, experiential, and suited for all levels of Scrum experience. Certified Scrum Product Owner® professionals have been taught the Scrum ternimology, practices and principles that enable them to fulfill the role of Product Owner on a Scrum team. The Product Owner is a key member of the Scrum team who is responsible for the ROI of hte team's efforts by determining what the team builds. CSPOs are typically the individuals who are closest to the "business side" of the project. They are charged by the organization to "get the product out" and are expected to do the best possible job of satisfying all the stakeholders. CSPOs maintain the product backlog and ensure that everyone knows the priorities.
Whether you are new to Scrum or an experienced professional, this class prepares you for success with Scrum in your organization. Our course curriculum sets the standard for Scrum know-how, drawing on our inventive exercises and real-world experience of implementing Scrum across industries, including energy, finance, healthcare, defense and technology.

Eric Rapin (CST, CSP, CSPO, CSM, Innovation Games Black Belt)
Eric Rapin is certified by the Scrum Alliance as a Certified Agile Trainer (CST). He is also an Agile Coach and Agile Practice Leader at Salesforce. His experience includes scaling agile for large technology enterprises where he’s trained and coached thousands around the world.
Eric is experienced in engaging executives and teams to build Agile Practices throughout the enterprise. Previously, Eric created and led Adobe System’s Agile practice as the company's Agile Trainer and Coach. He also spent two years as an instructor at University of California, Berkeley’s Extension program.
Eric has been a hands-on software engineer working in development, QA, and release management at companies including Apple, Sun Microsystems, and Nortel. Eric is a community leader in supporting Bay ALN, the largest agile meetup in San Francisco.
Stacey Louie (CSP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe-SPC4)
Stacey Louie is certified by the Scrum Alliance as a Certified Agile Professional (CSP). He is also an Enterprise Agile Coach and Trainer who leads the Hyperdrive Agile as Managing Director. Stacey's experience includes large-scale Agile transformations for companies including PayPal where he helped launch agility to over 500 teams. His past clients include StubHub, Prudential Financial, Nike, Cisco, Salesforce, Humana, HP, Docusign, and many others.
Stacey has led large technology organizations as a CIO/CTO and has worked in Product Management at Oracle where he helped build the company’s ERP/ CRM applications.
Stacey is the leader of the Silicon Valley Agile Leadership Network (North America’s largest Scrum meetup group). He is also the founder of AgileCamp.org, North America’s fastest growing agile conference series.

PDU and SEU Credits: This course provides 14 SEUs of the 70 needed for the Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification. This course also earns 14 PMI PDUs and 14 of the 21 contact hours needed for the PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
CSM Certification
After successful completion of the 2-day Certified Scrum Product Owner course, students are uploaded to the Scrum Alliance, and are then Certified. Hours: 9 AM to 5 PM each day with a lunch break.

Attendance: Instructors expect attendees to participate for the full two days of class and are unable to certify students who miss more than one hour of class. If you anticipate you may miss more than one hour, please contact your instructor in advance, to discuss your situation and determine whether rescheduling your class may be the best option.

What can/can't I bring to the event?
Everything you will need for class will be provided, so you don't need to bring anything. Please note, use of phones and laptops are discouraged during class, although welcome for use during breaks.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes. If you need to transfer your ticket to another attendee, just notify [email protected] with the details of who will be attending in your place.
What is the refund policy?
Cancellation Policy: A full refund is available if you cancel more than 10 business days before the course. If you cancel within 10 days of the course, we will give you a credit to take a future course (no cash value) or you may transfer your registration to another colleague. All cancellation requests, transfers or reschedules must be emailed to i[email protected].
