Scott is a great and engaging facilitator, and I appreciate how conversational the entire training was. He also was fantastic about sprinkling in resources for us to review for more learning after the two days we had together, including the Agile Mentors Podcast, which seems awesome. The thing that inspired me most about the whole day is something he said about how much time we spend at work and the impact we can have on others through all of that time. It may have been an in passing type or comment, but it was a major takeaway for me. It has been a catalyst to help me want to make other people have as positive of an experience as possible when spending time with me. There were times where it felt a little tough to follow him, but the slides certainly helped with that. As someone new to Scrum, many of the group activities helped with getting a better grasp on the material. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of engagement from some of the group members who were off camera in breakouts and/or seemed distracted and didn’t participate. Switching up groups added some nice variety here. The space for Qs was great. Some activities felt difficult as someone unfamiliar with Scrum (I.e. the 5 VPs activity). Overall it was a great training and I’m glad to have done it! It inspired me to keep learning.

The Scrum Master certification class clearly lays out the Scrum framework in a mixture of learning the process definitions and using them in breakout room environments.
