Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any prerequisites for this CSPO® course?
None for the CSPO® course as it is not tech-centric; everyone is welcome.
How should I prepare for this CSPO® course?
Come in with an open mind to be challenged and the willingness to work with your fellow learners.
For the online version, will I need to install any software?
Attendance and active participation across the course days will result in a recommendation for the Certified Scrum Product Owner® certification.
You will be required to install the latest ZOOM desktop/laptop software (avoid the web or mobile versions) and be able to access the Internet.
You must sign up for a FREE AI tool such as ChatGTP before the course begins, as we shall be using the AI during the course.
It is recommended you have a great internet connection via fast WIFI or hard-wired Ethernet cable. If possible, a 2nd monitor is a helpful option.
As a Scrum Alliance requirement, you will be required to have your video picture ON during the course.
Don't skimp on your own learning experience!
To avoid Zoom fatigue, we shall be having 10 min breaks roughly every hour and a break for Lunch.
What about exams and certifications?
There is no exam for the CSPO, but attendance and active participation across the course days are fully required in being recommended for the Certified Scrum Product Owner® certification.
Please avoid any work meetings or trying to fit it all in; this is your learning for you. Be committed with 100% full attendance and participation during class time.
After you are recommended for CSPO®, you will be asked to accept the CSPO® License Agreement and complete your Scrum Alliance membership profile. Don’t forget to do this!
Then and only then, upon successful acceptance of the license agreement, attendees will hold Certified Scrum Product Ownewr® (CSPO®) status. Congratulations!

How many people will attend the class?
The minimum class size is eight people due to the interactive nature of the class.
The Scrum Alliance allows a maximum of 50 people. However, we have never had a class near this number. We balance the need to learn from others in the group with enough time with the instructor. We often have someone supporting the instructor to provide extra focus for larger classes.
How can I pay for the class?
