Simon has used lightweight/agile methods since the late 1990s and works with organisations large and small to help them achieve better results by leveraging the power of self-organising teams. He has consulted for and led several large-scale agile transitions at DAX companies in Germany, is the author of several articles and speaks regularly at conferences on the subject of agile leadership.

Simon holds an MBA specialising in Creativity, Innovation, and Change from the Open University Business School.

Our Story

ScrumCenter was originally established in 2009 in Germany to leverage the founder's experience helping organisations to adopt agile ways of working and achieve sustainable success with agility. The founders of the original company had spent three years supporting a major financial sector organisation to adopt agile and wanted to use this experience to support other organisations through consulting, coaching and training.

ScrumCenter Ltd. was incorporated in Scotland in December 2017. When not travelling throughout Europe to support their clients, ScrumCenter's founder, Simon Roberts, lives on the shore of the beautiful Loch Long, close to the west coast of Scotland.

Simple to sign up for and aftercare so far has been of the highest standard.

The tutor, Simon, was thoroughly knowledgeable about the subject and extremely personable in all his interactions with the student cohort. His delivery of course material was never restricted to a rote script style and he examined wider questions when they arose, ensuring the student was content.Course was structured in such a way to facilitate sufficient breaks around the extensive learning taking place. An open forum was established quickly allowing all participants and Simon to engage openly and learn from one another's experiences.

Focussed course with lots of logical steps and real world experiences. Instructor was hugely experienced and provided an interactive approach to training and bringing the subject to life. Engaging course with plenty of well timed breaks.
