You’re a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) who’s been introduced to the Scrum Values, practices, and applications. The next step in your Agile journey is to achieve your Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM®) certification, and we’d be honored to take that journey with you.  

Our highly interactive class provides opportunities to learn and practice coaching and facilitation skills. Through discussion and activities, you’ll learn to:

  - Facilitate better dialogue between the Product Owner, Developers, customers, stakeholders, and executives

  - Respond confidently and use coaching skills when encountering common impediments facing organizations that want to do Scrum better 

  - Increase engagement by encouraging greater accountability, higher commitment, and buy-in at all levels of the organization

  - Go beyond the mechanics of Scrum and gain skills to facilitate, coach, and work through team dynamics

Our trainer has been a Certified Scrum Trainer® for over ten years and she incorporates her own agile and leadership experiences into the discussions and activities. Students are encouraged to share, ask questions, and practice what they’re learning so they can come away with new tools in their toolbox.

REQUIREMENTS

  - Hold a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) certification with the Scrum Alliance. 

  - Attend this certified A-CSM educational workshop

  - Accept the A-CSM License Agreement and complete your Scrum Alliance membership profile.

  - Validate at least 12 months of work experience specific to the accountability of Scrum Master (within the past five years).

NOTE: You may take the A-CSM course at any time after completing your CSM certification. You must also have at least 12 months of Scrum Master experience recorded in your Scrum Alliance profile before your A-CSM certification becomes valid.
