Training that Works

Our Approach

NextUp Solutions' Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) training class is a two-day learning experience that provides students a full immersion into Agile principles and the concepts and practices that define the Scrum framework.

This course allows students to take the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) exam after training to become Certified ScrumMasters. This course also allows students to claim 16 Scrum Alliance Scrum Education Units (SEUs) and 14 Project Management Institute (PMI) Professional Development Units (PDUs) which can be applied to Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certifications.

Special discounts are available for this class. Reach out to [email protected] to see if you are eligible.

CSM Exam

Upon successful completion of the course, students are eligible to take the Scrum Alliance's Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) exam to become Certified ScrumMasters. The exam is an open-book, hour-long, 50-question test that requires a passing score of 37 correct answers. Students who complete the CSM course receive two prepaid exam attempts. Any student who does not pass the exam after two attempts may retake NextUp's CSM course for free. Since 2018, 98% of NextUp's students pass the exam on their first attempt, and 100% have passed by a second attempt.

Testimonials

Thanks for a great class. I just wanted to let you know that I passed the exam and am now a Certified ScrumMaster. I am starting a new project and we have elected to run it using Scrum. I am excited to apply my new skills to this project.”

– Lisa P.

“I also wanted to thank you for teaching us today. The training was very helpful. I posted a picture of my Scrum Alliance profile on this email (just for fun). And the video’s we saw in class was very funny. I have already begun to look at information on the next steps for CSP. Thanks again.”

– Marbella M.

“I’m pleased to report that after taking the CSM exam almost immediately after today’s class I passed with an almost perfect score. I only missed two questions out of a total of 35 and after reading them I realized it was only because I rushed through them. I just want to thank you again for all of your help as I continue on the CSP path.”

Antwane S.

“Your training is still one
of the best I've been to over the past few years!”

– Dave K.

“I was in your Blacksburg CSM class this week. I  passed the CSM exam last night, so thank you for the excellent classroom preparation. One thing I forgot to add the course feedback was how innovative I thought it was for you to use Scrum to teach Scrum. Very well done!”

– Josh
