Stuart Turner is the originator of the unique, fun and highly informative (and much copied) Scrum simulation. One of very few courses that uses a simulation early on, intentionally giving everyone a fidelitous experience of using Scrum and a shared context on which to build. The ordering of events in the course is deliberate, knowing experiential learning permits the deeper lessons and discoveries of the remainder of the course to be better understood, integrated and retained.

We'll experience how using the Scrum framework helps us discover more about our product, team and environment, and how we're working using the principles of transparency, inspection, and adaptation. Notes

A total of 14 hours is necessary for completion of this course. In addition to the three live, online sessions a further 3.5 hours of guided activities needs to be performed. The activities include 60-90 minutes before the first live session and a further 60-90 minutes between each of the live sessions. Please allocate sufficient time for not only participating in the live sessions but also for performing the additional activities.

Membership of the Scrum Alliance is included in the course fee.

Scrum Alliance SEUs: This course qualifies as 14 Scrum Educational Units (SEUs) toward the 70 that are needed for a candidate to qualify as a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)

Project Management Institute: This course counts as 15 of the 21 contact hours required of Agile Project Management Training to the eligible for the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.

Professional Development Units (PDUs): This course also counts for 14 Professional Development Units

Once you complete the course, you will be registered with Scrum Alliance and receive an email with details for completing your membership.
