Learn to create the product vision, order the Product Backlog, and forge a great experience for the customer.

As we move through the disciplines promoted by Scrum you will gain a comprehensive understanding of agile product development methodology while specifically reviewing the behaviors expected of a Product Owner. While many of us may be accustomed to the practice of establishing value and priority across projects, the Product Owner needs to consider value and priority across the features of a single project.

Duration

The CSPO Course is a 2-day in-person training with breaks throughout.

CLASS OVERVIEW

In this class you will learn how to:

  • Understand the fundamentals, terminology, practices and principles of the role of the Certified Scrum Product Owner
  • Demonstrate your knowledge of the role of the Scrum Product Owner to advance your career

The Product Owner is a leadership role – not an administrative assistant. Proactive, empowered Product Owners seek input in addition to remaining open to receiving feedback to provide value to customers and users. Join us to learn how effective Product Owner’s manage stakeholder expectations and double value.

WHAT CHRISTIAN’S STUDENTS ARE SAYING...

“I want to share with you how much I enjoyed taking the class and that Christian did an absolutely fantastic job. I have been agile on and off for the past 15 years and have served as a scrum master in the last 2 years. Initially I thought that I will be a bit bored, but Christian was very engaging and presented the material in a very thought-provoking fashion. I particularly enjoyed the concept of Mindset vs. Mechanics. I also felt very much empowered as a scrum master. My last engagement entailed an agile conversion in an organization that was rather opposed to change.”

– Micheala W.

“Hi, Christian — thanks again for the very insightful scrum master course training last week! I’m looking forward to observing more and asking questions to start dialogue in my state agency to help us become more agile and efficient leaders.”

– Kendall A.

“Awesome Scrum Master course! You nicely pulled off the virtual aspect. I’d take another of your courses anytime. Thanks again!”

– Janet V

“Christian- I just wanted to connect and say thank you again for the great CSM course you led last week! I really appreciated the dynamic and interactive nature. Also thanks again for the conversation and words of encouragement after the course ended on Friday. Take care!”

– Heather S.
