Learn techniques and next-level product ownership skills from an entrepreneur and senior Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Trainer.

Advanced-Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO) is an in-depth, two-day immersion into the world of the Product Owner role on scrum teams as outlined by the Scrum Alliance. The class explores Agile Facilitation and Agile Coaching and how the Product Owner uses these skills to support the team, the ScrumMaster, and the organization.

The class is full of real-world examples with practical tools and techniques that can be implemented immediately at your workplace. It is a deep dive into your role, and you will learn about managing stakeholders, creating and grooming the Product Backlog, and the emerging detail with Product Backlog Items. You will participate in exercises, in-depth discussion, case studies, and techniques to help illustrate practices and principles.

Duration

The A-CSPO Course is a 2-day training with hourly breaks throughout.

Christian Antoine

Christian is a Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) and Certified Less Practitioner (CLP) and Training from the BACK of the Room (TBR) Certified Trainer and a Scrum Alliance Path to CSP Approved Educators. Working with Agile since 2008, Christian consults, trains, and coaches teams and companies on Agile at all levels of the organization. He enjoys helping others see there is a different way to approach work, at a sustainable pace, and get outcomes to delight customers.

A graduate of St. John’s University, Christian resides in Golden Valley, MN with his wife and three children.

Requirements:

Hold a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification with the Scrum Alliance.
Attend a certified A-CSPO educational offering to gain techniques that expand into managing stakeholders, product discovery, and advanced Product Backlog management.
Successfully complete all educator-designed components of an approved educational offering. This may include pre- or post-course work as deemed necessary by your approved educator to complete the learning objectives.
You will be asked to accept the A-CSPO License Agreement and complete your Scrum Alliance membership profile.
Validate at least 12 months of work experience specific to the role of Product Owner (within the past five years).

He is in the business for a long time already and also knows a lot about the history of scrum, how and why some scrum guidelines are as they are today. In my opinion that is very helpful to understand what is taught.

Christian was a great instructor. He kept the class interactive and not a death-by-PowerPoint. He followed the script but was wiling to go off-script when needed to share examples and experiences. I'll look for him when it's time to sign up for the next class in the certification.
