Certification
Upon successful completion of the course, students will have an active A-CSPO certification as long as they:
- Hold an active Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification with the Scrum Alliance.
- Validate at least 12 months of work experience specific to the role of Product Owner within the past five years.
Students can still attend our A-CSPO course even without these requirements and later complete the CSPO and/or work experience to claim their certification. As a bonus, this class will automatically renew your CSPO and CSM (if applicable) certifications, even if those credentials are expired.
About the Trainer
Richard Cheng is an Agile trainer with a deep background in Product Ownership. Richard creates fun immersive training courses that engage the students in a creative and effective way.
Richard is the former Lead of Agile at Excella and former Chief Product Owner at NextUp Solutions. A graduate of Virginia Tech, Richard has authored several publications on project management, given keynote talks around the world, is a member of Mensa, and holds certifications including Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), Accredited Kanban Trainer (AKT), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified LeSS Practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and SAFe Program Consultant (SPC). Richard is a founder and on the executive committee of the Agile Delivery for Agencies, Programs, and Teams (ADAPT), an Agile government task force.
