OKRs are a goal-setting approach and system commonly used in agile ways of work to help teams align around common objectives and track progress toward achieving them. This is a four-hour intensive course.

Combining an agile way of work with a goal-oriented OKR framework can offer a flexible, collaborative, and iterative approach for development while focusing on setting clear objectives and measurable key results to achieve those objectives. Blending the two approaches can help organizations and teams align their efforts with strategic goals, adapt quickly to increasingly unpredictable and complex environments, and track progress effectively.

 

This course complements the existing Scrum Alliance portfolio by offering a specialized program on OKRs, a powerful goal-setting methodology increasingly adopted by Agile teams. By attending this course, students can expand their understanding and cater to the growing demand for expertise in setting and achieving ambitious goals in Agile environments.

The course will be held remotely via Zoom.

The course is divided into 4 lessons that cover the core principles of Agile OKRs and their application within the scrum framework. 

  1. Goal Setting Fundamentals

  2. Strategic Planning and Alignment

  3. Objectives and Key Results

  4. OKRs in Scrum and Antipatterns

 

Scrum masters, product owners, trainers, managers, agile project managers, leads, employees, and consultants seeking to enhance their objectives and key results (OKR) expertise within agile environments.

Time: 4-5 hours.

Prerequisites: Basic understanding of agile

After successful finish students will be issued ScrumAlliance microceredntial.
