Certified Scrum Professional® - Product Owner (CSP®-PO) Course Description

The Certified Scrum Professional® - Product Owner (CSP®-PO) is an advanced, multi-day training course designed to deepen your understanding of Scrum and the role of a Product Owner. This course provides a thorough exploration of Product Strategy, from customer discovery and development to business model innovation and competitive analysis. Participants will learn how a Product Owner supports the launch of new teams, collaborates with stakeholders on planning and forecasting, and effectively manages multiple teams’ backlogs.

The CSP®-PO course is aimed at experienced Scrum practitioners who are ready to refine their skills and challenge their teams to enhance the application of Scrum and Agile principles. Through real-world examples, interactive discussions, and participant experiences, attendees will gain practical tools and techniques that can be immediately applied in their workplaces.

This certification programme is intended for individuals who already hold the Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO) certification and wish to gain advanced knowledge in key areas such as implementing product strategy, testing product assumptions, and mastering Product Backlog management. Successful completion of the course, including all educator-designed components, will result in the prestigious CSP®-PO certification.

The course consists of 16 hours of instruction over two days, and upon completion, participants will earn 16 PDUs. To qualify, candidates must have at least 24 months of work experience as a Product Owner within the past five years and meet all additional requirements as specified by the Scrum Alliance.
