Meet Your Instructor

Vic has over 24 years of software and systems development experience and 14 years of experience working with individuals and organizations adopting agile. Having trained and coached leaders, developers, scrum masters, and product owners, Vic is able to work with any skill set and at any level of an organization. Vic has deep knowledge of scrum, kanban, extreme programming, and test-driven development. He is a strong believer in learning by doing, and he actually works actively as a coach and scrum master.

Since 2013, Vic has hosted the Agile Coffee podcast and has appeared on several others. Creator of the Agile Coaching Cards and host of the Agile Coffeehouse YouTube channel, Vic was the co-chair of the recent Global Scrum Gathering in San Diego (2018).

Class begins at 10am ET (7am PT) and will run until 5:30pm ET both days
Participants will be expected to connect to the class via Zoom with video, which must be active throughout the class
Participants are required to be fully engaged in all class activities in order to qualify for certification. Students who miss more than 1 hour of class time will not be eligible for the certification
Participants who complete this course qualify for 16 PDUs
Registration includes 2-year certification with Scrum Alliance

I enjoyed the CSM class very much. Although English is my second language, Victor helped me understand the material well. I was able to learn Scrum in an easy way with group activities, visual aids, and discussions.

Prior to taking this CSM course, I was moderately interested yet unfamiliar with Scrum and Agile practices. Taking Victor's class eased me into the world of Scrum as I was immersed in the activities and discussions that one on a working Agile development team would participate in. Now I feel well-versed in Scrum and will be using my knowledge I gained to further my career in technology. Overall, I enjoyed Victor's class very much and would recommend it to anyone interested in becoming a CSM.
