Simon has used lightweight/agile methods since the late 1990s and works with organisations large and small to help them achieve better results by leveraging the power of self-organising teams. He has consulted for and led several large-scale agile transitions at DAX companies in Germany, is the author of several articles and speaks regularly at conferences on the subject of agile leadership.

Simon holds an MBA specialising in Creativity, Innovation and Change from the Open University Business School.

Our Story

ScrumCenter was originally established in 2009 in Germany to leverage the founder's experience helping organisations to adopt agile ways of working and achieve sustainable success with agility. The founders of the original company had spent three years supporting a major financial sector organisation to adopt agile and wanted to use this experience to support other organisations through consulting, coaching and training.

ScrumCenter Ltd. was incorporated in Scotland in December 2017. When not travelling throughout Europe to support their clients, ScrumCenter's founder, Simon Roberts, lives on the shore of the beautiful Loch Long, close to the west coast of Scotland.

Simon was engaging and had shedloads of relevant knowledge and experience which helped to bring the subject to life!

Simon Roberts was very knowledgeable and approachable as the trainer. The lessons were enjoyable, which encouraged all trainees to get involved and participate in constructive discussions. Thank you for your support Simon.

This course was conducted online, which made it quite challenging to stay engaged. Unfortunately, the assessor’s delivery lacked energy, and the subject matter was rather dry. I believe that if the course had been held in person, as originally promised, it would have been more engaging and effective. This is not just my personal view but a sentiment shared by a few others. I feel that the quality of instruction did not align with the cost of the course.

Simon was obviously very knowledgeable and experienced in the field. He managed to instill an understanding of the subject covering the Scrum framework. I would recommend the training Simon provided to anyone interested in moving into or to gain an understanding of Scrum.

Excellent, gives a great foundation in Agile

Simon's classes were dynamic and engaging. He answered all questions and gave examples from real life events.
